The tavern would be permanently shuttered in 1950, but was once a lively club on the 300 block of North Adams Street, just one block from the Pryor family brothels on North Washington Street.<\/p>\n<p>The photograph is in many senses undramatic: we just see an empty bar and lots of bottles.
