“Three arrests were made Sunday night when police officers raided a home in 1260 East Sangamon street. Marie Carter, arrested for the possession of intoxicating liquor, pleaded guilty and was fined $25.15 by Judge J.G. Allen. Mack Williams , 1240 E. Sangamon, pleaded guilty to the sale of liquor. Unable to pay the fine of $53.15, he was placed in the city jail.
