Charged with “possessing liquor,” Marie Carter was arrested Sunday evening and fined $28.15. Two men, William Haines and Mack Williams, were detained along with her.
William Haines was charged with “congregating to drink” and fined $6.15. Mack Williams was charged with selling liquor and, when he could not pay the $53.15 fine, was held in prison.
